About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrub Nurse to join our busy Theatre Department at Winfield Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting clinical support staff and junior staff in the delivery of care.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Supervise and support clinical support staff and junior staff in the delivery of care, providing education, training, and mentorship to meet development needs.
  2. Deliver high quality, effective, evidence-based patient care.

Requirements

  • NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • Surgical scrub experience
  • Highly experienced within the theatre team (ODP/Senior ODP/Registered Nurse/Senior Staff Nurse)
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) would be desirable, but not essential
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate and empathetic character
