Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Primary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to support local schools in the Crawley area. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping children thrive in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to children across various key stages
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive classroom environment
  • Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring all children can access the curriculum
  • Help monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to teachers
  • Foster an inclusive, nurturing environment that encourages social, emotional, and academic development
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
Requirements:
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting, ideally across different age groups
  • Knowledge of SEN and experience using strategies to support diverse learning needs
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to promoting the well-being and academic success of all students
