Role Overview
We are seeking a talented Career Starter to join our team in the United Kingdom and Ireland. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of sustainable change and contribute to delivering innovative solutions across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Your key tasks will include:
- Contributing to the overall design and delivery of transport-related projects throughout their lifecycle.
- Performing analysis using computer modelling, interpreting technical material, and developing digital tools to solve engineering challenges for our clients.
- Translating engineering concepts and solutions into presentations, reports, sketches, drawings, and infographics that communicate their value to our clients and stakeholders.
- Identifying potential health & safety, design, and commercial risks on our projects and contributing towards mitigating them.
- Maintaining a focus on sustainability in all aspects of your work.
- Monitoring the implementation of design throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concepts to construction and operation.
- Contributing to the development of company procedures by participating in task groups.
- Pursuing continuous professional development, including working towards chartership with a recognised institution.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A BEng, MEng, or MSc level degree in a relevant engineering discipline (General Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering, Engineering Geology).
- The ability to summarise and present information via different channels (e.g., report writing, PowerPoint, hand sketching).
- A positive attitude to learning new skills and adapting to new technologies.
- An understanding of Digital Automation.
Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a range of benefits, including hybrid and flexible working options, 27 days holiday per year plus bank holidays, private medical insurance, and access to a great list of flexible benefits, such as discounted Taste Card subscription, cycle-to-work scheme, gym flex, and more.
