Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Ribble Court Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and hygiene support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist residents with eating and drinking, and promote independence in daily activities
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to residents, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and well-being
  • Support residents to live an enriched and fulfilled life, focusing on their individual hobbies, preferences, and abilities
  • Maintain high standards of care and cleanliness within the care home environment
  • Work flexibly as part of a team to ensure residents' needs are met

Requirements

  • A positive outlook and warm personality
  • Able to demonstrate a genuine interest in working in the health and social care sector, with experience beneficial but not essential
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns according to the needs of our residents
