Primary School Support Specialist

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant Primary School community. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of supporting pupils with special educational needs and be passionate about making a positive impact on their lives.
\As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with additional needs in Key Stage 1 (KS1), Key Stage 2 (KS2), Reception, and EYFS. You will work closely with the teaching staff to develop tailored plans to meet the individual needs of each pupil, ensuring they receive the best possible education and care.
\Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to support pupils with special educational needs.
- Providing one-to-one support and small group interventions to enhance pupil engagement and promote positive behaviour.
- Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to ensure consistency and continuity in meeting pupil needs.
Requirements: A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent, experience as a TA in UK schools, particularly Primary Schools, and a solid understanding of the National Curriculum across KS1, KS2, Reception, and EYFS.
