Job Title: Combustion Expert

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Combustion Expert to join our team at Dalkia UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the boilers and other gas appliances on site, ensuring maximum operational effectiveness through the introduction of new systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain the boilers and other gas appliances on site
  2. Work as part of the maintenance team to manage the maintenance of equipment across a diverse campus
  3. Ensure the safe operation and availability of the LTHW boilers onsite in line with all current legislation and company compliance
  4. Diagnose and rectify minor faults with the equipment that you have been trained to carry out
  5. Manage and produce accurate formal reports in accordance with business timetable

Requirements
  • Extensive experience of working with industrial boilers
  • Formal Mechanical Training / Qualification
  • Experience of organising planned maintenance of equipment across a diverse campus
  • Up to date knowledge of required standards in compliance and safety
  • Strong organisational skills with an ability to balance a varied workload and re-prioritise in response to changing business needs and unexpected engineering problems
  • Evidence of trouble-shooting and fault diagnosis
