The estimated salary for this position is £30,000-£35,000 per annum.
We are seeking a talented and motivated Second Chef to join our team. As a bank Second Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen, developing menus, and preparing fresh, seasonal dishes. You will work closely with residents to tailor the food to their preferences and help create a warm and welcoming environment within our home.
We are looking for a qualified chef who is keen to work with fresh seasonal food, has a good understanding of nutrition, and can create a warm and welcoming environment within our home. The successful candidate will need to hold a City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent qualification, along with a good understanding of HACCP and experience in working with fresh, seasonal food.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence
- Assist the Head Chef in menu development
- Work fresh produce to deliver high-quality and wholesome dishes cooked at the highest standards
