Job Title: Head of Recruitment

Gloo is seeking a visionary Head of Recruitment to lead our talent acquisition efforts in the biotech industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive recruitment strategy that aligns with our ambitious growth plans.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a strategic and innovative recruitment leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the biotech industry, a proven track record of building high-performing recruitment teams, and a passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a forward-thinking talent acquisition strategy that supports our growth objectives and strengthens our position as a leader in next-generation sequencing.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing talent acquisition team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Talent Sourcing & Recruitment: Oversee the full lifecycle recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing to offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Employer Branding: Develop and execute employer branding initiatives to enhance our visibility and attractiveness to potential candidates.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Champion diversity and inclusion efforts in the recruitment process, ensuring a diverse pipeline of candidates for all roles.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make informed decisions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 4 years in a leadership role within the biotech, life sciences, or technology sectors.
  • Proven experience in recruiting for highly specialised roles in genomics, bioinformatics, data science, and related fields.
  • Strong understanding of the biotech industry and next-generation sequencing technologies.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing recruitment teams in fast-paced, innovative environments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion, with experience in implementing D&I initiatives.
