Role Summary
ENGINEERINGUK is seeking an experienced In-House Counsel for Procurement Services to enhance its firmwide procurement services. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Procurement team and various stakeholders to oversee the entire process of reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial supplier agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- To manage the procurement process end-to-end, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- To advise on commercial and legal aspects of contracts.
- To work closely with the Procurement team and various stakeholders to ensure due diligence and risk management practices are thoroughly applied to supplier engagements.
Requirements
- Strong drafting and negotiation capabilities.
- Commercial awareness.
- The ability to communicate complex contractual implications effectively.
- At least one year of post-qualification experience or significant in-house experience in commercial contracts within a procurement setting.
