Science Teacher Role:

  • We are seeking a qualified Science Teacher to join our team at a Secondary School in Norwich.
  • The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Science curriculum, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • They will be able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons, maintain a well-organised classroom, and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
  • The Science Teacher will work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school.
  • They will be able to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
  • The Science Teacher will comply with the school's policies and implement them reliably.

Science Teacher Requirement:

  • The ideal candidate will hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
  • They will have recent mainstream school-based experience as a Science Teacher in a Secondary School.
  • They will have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
  • A relevant Science-related degree is desirable.
  • SEND experience is also desirable.
