Lead Voice AI Engineering Team

Main Responsibilities:

  • Foster a high-performing engineering team focused on developing and maintaining voice AI systems.
  • Establish and maintain engineering processes and standards to ensure consistent, high-quality results across all projects.
  • Provide technical leadership, guiding engineers through complex AI challenges from model development to system integration.
  • Encourage innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering department.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field involving coding, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience with agile project management methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • 2+ years of software engineering management experience.
  • Expertise in algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis, and software design.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Python or Go.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably in a related industry.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, and associated technologies.
  • Knowledge of telephony protocols like SIP and networking protocols like TLS.
  • Understanding of the software deployment cycle, including local deployments, testing, and code reviews.
