Role Purpose

As a Private Client Principal Associate/Director, you will play a key role in supporting our clients on all aspects of wealth work. This includes reviewing existing estate planning documentation, preparing wills, and advising on inheritance tax and capital gains tax. You will also be responsible for providing supervision and support to junior team members, ensuring efficient administration, and contributing to the implementation of our departmental business plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with clients to understand their wealth planning needs and provide tailored advice
  • Prepare and review wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents
  • Advise on inheritance tax and capital gains tax matters, including pilot trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Provide supervision and support to junior team members, contributing to bi-monthly file reviews
  • Ensure efficient administration, billing, and cost recovery, meeting agreed targets
