Business Development Manager

eGain Corporation is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive sales initiatives and qualify inbound marketing leads. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that leads handed over to our Client Directors are of high quality and have a strong potential for conversion.
- Conduct thorough research on leads before introductory calls to understand their digital engagement and market position.
- Identify customer needs, pain points, and vision during calls, document details in CRM, and report weekly.
- Nurture leads with standardized content and engagement schedules via email, LinkedIn, and calls.
- Ensure leads meet criteria before qualifying for sales opportunities and disposition non-advancing leads in CRM.
- Provide feedback on lead quality.
- Manage CRM records, track lead metrics, and analyze trends to improve qualification processes.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the SaaS or technology sector.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
