Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Lambeth
We are seeking an experienced teaching assistant to join our team at a special needs school in Lambeth, London. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students.
About the Role:
- Assist teachers in creating engaging lesson plans and providing one-to-one support to students with SEN.
- Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, promoting a sense of calm and focus among students.
- Contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), ensuring that each student receives tailored support and resources.
Your Qualifications and Skills:
- At least 1 year of experience working with SEN students, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong understanding of SEN policies and procedures, with excellent knowledge of IEPs and personalized learning strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
