About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Delivery Professional to join our Technical Service Operations team at BT Security. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering and deploying new quality assured bespoke builds in an automated way, as well as performing 2nd Line support and maintenance activities on existing ones.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain software delivery platforms, ensuring high levels of quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with customers to diagnose and resolve technical issues, sometimes on-site.
  • Work closely with 3rd party suppliers to deliver fixes and enhancements.
  • Contribute to process improvements and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in service management within the IT industry.
  • Strong technical background, with expertise in Unix/Linux, Ansible, SQL, Elasticsearch, and VMware.
  • Understanding of DevOps and agile team methodologies.
  • Experience delivering small to medium technical deliveries.
  • Degree-educated or equivalent industry experience.
Desired Skills
  • Unix/Linux (RedHat7) sysadmin management.
  • Ansible automated deployment methods.
  • SQL / Elasticsearch Database management.
  • Windows Domain management.
  • VMware / vCentre management.
  • Basic networking management.
