Vivienne Westwood is seeking a highly skilled Digital Site Trading Specialist to join the E-commerce Team in the Merton Office on a full-time basis for 5 months.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the website and Merchandising activities, ensuring a clear understanding of the website strategy and business objectives.
  • Demonstrate confident and articulate presenting skills, adopting a data-led approach and attending E-commerce wider stakeholder meetings on behalf of E-commerce.
  • Effectively manage day-to-day operations and workload across the Merchandise team, scheduling new, developing, and existing website workload and requests according to priority set by the Head of E-commerce.
  • Oversee E-commerce Merchandise Key events calendar updates in line with Merchandise Rota, tracking and collating approved studio holiday requests, and updating Rota accordingly.
  • Ensure all website merchandising assets and data are successfully executed online, delegating tasks across the Merchandise team to ensure seamless allocation, assignment, asset management, and projects pipeline consistency.
  • React to and proactively resolve key developments affecting the team, workload, and operations, effectively communicating all developments for E-commerce, pertaining to project updates and key calendar activities to the Head of E-commerce.
  • Stay up-to-date with all Merchandising areas, including Content Management, Monitor studio Supply Chain, accurately tracking Inbound delivery notifications, flagging, and chasing up discrepancies or delays with the wider logistic teams.
  • Ability to undertake key tasks independently, including SAP & OMS data and inventory management, SFCC catalogue management, website configuration, and functionalities for precise and comprehensive reporting.
  • Demonstrate a key understanding of trade reporting and analysis, with the ability to assess external and internal commercial factors affecting global business trends, managing the monthly/annual sales and business reports, providing detailed analysis on key business metrics, including site performance, conversion rates, sales by product, and all digital channels.
  • Provide on-hand reporting for sales and margin performance, reviewing successes, weaknesses, and issues to deliver clear trading actions and objectives, utilizing forward forecasting tools to continually assess actual performance against plan and project anticipated trade relative to season-to-date patterns.
  • Lead initiatives in deploying and refining online tactics to boost traffic, conducting regular site audits to catch and report bugs to our I.T and web development partner with clear and concise criteria, spearheading initiatives aimed at enhancing the online shopping experience, focusing on CX, UX, search functionality, and checkout optimization.
  • Build on close working relationships with the Buying and Commercial teams to fully understand wider trading strategy, ensuring early buy visibility, to optimize the online edit, benefit from existing brand relations, and improve studio production through delivery schedule info sharing.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in an E-commerce within B2C trading and digital content teams.
  • Strong experience optimizing ecommerce platforms.
  • Track record of optimizing Conversion Rate (CVR) and Average Order Value (AOV).
  • In-depth understanding of Customer Experience (CX) principles.
  • Working knowledge of demand generation and optimizing inbound website traffic.
Technical Skills:
  • An understanding of staging environments & basic HTML coding & web design experience a plus.
  • Must have experience managing web-based analytical tools, such as Google Analytics, Power BI.
  • Strong PC Skills – Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Experience using SAP. Salesforce Commerce Cloud Business Manager & Order Management.
  • Data driven. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Confident using Excel and Microsoft Suite to create, maintain, and develop data spreadsheets.
  • Strong Numerical and analytical skills, able to identify critical issues and opportunities.
