Job Summary:
The Finance Assistant will provide administrative support to the Financial Controller and assist with various finance functions. This role will include processing financial transactions, managing financial records, and performing general administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Transactions: Process financial transactions, including purchase and sales ledger duties, processing expenses, and credit card transactions.
- Financial Record Management: Manage financial records, including purchase orders, cash book entries, and general administration duties.
- Financial Reporting: Assist with financial reporting, including preparing financial statements and reconciliations.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Financial Controller, including responding to queries and requests from other staff members.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: AAT part-qualified or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Experience in a similar role, ideally in accounts.
- Skills: Microsoft Office skills, well-organized, prioritizing, and working within key deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Intermediate Excel skills, competent writing and reporting skills, and previous experience of accounting software packages.
Working Conditions:
- Hours: 22.5 hours per week over 3-5 days.
- Pay: £14.25 per hour.
- Benefits: Pension scheme.
