Job Opportunity: Head of Residential Conveyancing Department

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of Conveyancing Solicitors in a busy regional law firm. The role will entail managing a full caseload of residential and commercial property matters, including sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfer of equity, and lease extensions. Experience in acquisitions and sales of businesses and refinancing would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of five Conveyancing Solicitors
  • Generate fees and engage in business development
  • Lead and manage a department
  • Have an in-depth understanding of residential conveyancing and commercial property processes
  • Deal with matters quickly and cost-effectively

Requirements:

The ideal candidate must have:

  • Experience in residential conveyancing and commercial property
  • Leadership and management skills
  • Business acumen
  • A desire to progress to Partner level
