Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced medical photographer to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales. This role will support the establishment and maintenance of a new Teledermoscopy service to aid the Dermatology recovery plan.

The successful applicant will work closely with the lead medical photographer, support staff, and the wider senior management team to develop and implement a high-quality clinical photography service.

Key responsibilities include participating in all aspects of clinical, specialist clinical, scientific, and non-clinical photography, including video, reprographic, and multi-media imaging.

The post holder will also be responsible for the design and production of clinical educational material, including original concept illustration and animation.

Additionally, the post holder will be responsible for the training and supervision of junior clinical photography staff and the monitoring of clinical photographic workflows.
