Key Accountabilities
  • Develop innovative pricing solutions that contribute to product and portfolio success, while building capability in increasing efficiency and accuracy of delivery.
  • Identify, manage, and deliver specific tasks and projects in a proactive, timely, and accurate manner, providing insights, impacts, and recommendations.
  • Enhance monitoring tools to understand product performance and mix changes.
  • Ensure pricing controls are followed, including rate testing, implementation, and adherence to company risk and control appetite.
  • Identify, own, and manage risks involved in running our business, in line with the company risk framework. Communicate to peers and team managers in a timely manner where you have discovered price, model, or data issues and suggest appropriate remedial actions.
  • Ensure compliance with core Direct Line Group Policies, statutory and regulatory requirements, governance controls, and timely completion of risk and audit actions.
Skills and Qualities
  • A minimum of 3 years insurance experience working within an insurance pricing environment, with previous experience in SME pricing desirable.
  • Skills in data analysis and interpretation, and building relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Expertise in different types of pricing software, such as Alteryx and Tableau, is desirable.
