Job Title: Registered Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to lead our Residential Service for children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

About the Role

As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality residential services that meet the needs of our young people and their families. You will lead and manage a team to ensure effective collaboration with internal and partner agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to promote the best outcomes for young people
  • Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements, including the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards 2015
  • Lead and manage a team to deliver high-quality residential services
  • Collaborate with internal and partner agencies to ensure effective support for young people and their families
  • Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation and management of the Children's Home
Requirements
  • Management experience within young people's residential services
  • Completed RMA/NVQ 4 in Leadership and Management or willing to commence within 3 months
  • Excellent working knowledge of children's homes national minimum standards and the Children's Act 2010
  • Ability to cope with emotionally challenging situations and act calmly under pressure
