Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team at the Institute of the Motor Industry.

About the Role

As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out vehicle services according to manufacturer standards
  • Repairing vehicles in accordance with industry standards
  • Performing vehicle diagnostics using advanced tools
  • Liaising with customers and road testing vehicles when necessary
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair from a reputable institution such as IMI or City & Guilds
  • Previous experience working as an Automotive Mechanic
  • MOT Tester qualifications are desirable
