About the Role

We are looking for a skilled engineer with expertise in process design, optimisation, and implementation. The successful candidate will have a strong background in one of the following fields: Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical specifications, and ensure the company's design and engineering workflow is well-organised.
  • Collaborate with the DSV team and the current Founder in Residence to co-found and spin-out a new company focused on geological CO2 storage.
  • Work closely with the team to develop and optimise our CO2 storage technology, ensuring it is secure, scalable, and cost-effective.
Requirements
  • Higher degree (MEng or PhD) in a relevant field.
  • Chartered engineer recognised by an appropriate engineering institution or council.
  • Experience working in an operating plant, manufacturing environment, or other industrial setting.
  • Familiarity with gas compression, water pumping, and/or oilfield waterflood systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD, process simulation software (e.g. Aspen, HYsys), and programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, or equivalent.
