About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Waking Night Support Worker at Children's Home Frome. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our young people aged 7 to 18 who have complex needs, including autistic spectrum disorder.
Key Responsibilities
- Support our young people with daily living tasks, including personal care and medication management
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with our young people, their families, and other professionals
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring the needs of our young people are met
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of our care services
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of our homes
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people with complex needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including night shifts and weekends
- Commitment to providing high-quality care and support to our young people
