The salary for this role is estimated to be around £37,000 - £40,000 per annum, plus overtime opportunities. Additionally, the company offers a bonus scheme, 22 days holiday + Bank Holidays, and a 40 hour week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Gas Detection Field Service Engineer to join our team in the South of the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing, commissioning, and repairing a variety of gas detection alarms on industrial client sites. This will include fault finding and maintenance, as well as providing client training.

You will work closely with our clients to ensure their gas detection systems are functioning correctly and provide them with the necessary training to operate and maintain these systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Valid UK driving license
  • Electrical-based background
  • Experience working with electrical/electronic equipment in a field service capacity
  • Excellent communication skills

Past experience calibrating gas detection products is desirable, but not essential. Candidates with experience in similar industries such as fire alarms, security alarms, CCTV, access control, telecoms, or instrumentation will also be considered.
