About the Company:

We are a Tier 1 Contractor, delivering large-scale projects across the UK, including a major Solar Farm installation in the Chester area.

We are committed to providing our clients with exceptional service and delivery, and we're looking for a skilled Project Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project delivery outputs, including programme, financial position, health safety, environmental performance, and progress for all allocated schemes.

This is a 9-month contract, based in the Chester area, with some site travel required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project delivery outputs, including programme, financial position, health safety, environmental performance, and progress for all allocated schemes.
  • Interact professionally with senior representatives of our clients.
  • Have a good understanding of NEC contract conditions and astute commercial awareness.
  • Responsible for day-to-day management of the project to ensure successful delivery against KPIs and PIs.
  • E nsure compliance with all company safety, environmental, and quality systems.
  • Liaise with client's staff to ensure KPIs are met or exceeded within budget constraints.
  • Manage the project team, ensuring each member has a clear set of objectives.
  • Produce project performance reports and participate in monthly financial/programme reviews for all schemes with the Commercial Manager, Framework Manager, and Regional Director.
Requirements:
  • An industry-applicable ONC/HNC/B.Eng or NVQ equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or another relevant subject matter.
  • H&S qualifications (desirable).
  • IOSH or CITB 5 Day Site Safety Management (SMSTS).
  • CSCS card.
  • Strong team player but also able to work as an individual.
  • Excellent communication skills (email/phone/face to face).

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum.
