Operating Department Practitioner/Anaesthetic Nurse

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Theatre Team as an Operating Department Practitioner/Anaesthetic Nurse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting our anaesthetic team in the operating department. You will work closely with our experienced anaesthetic team to ensure the smooth running of our theatre sessions and provide excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Collecting patients from holding bay into theatre
Checking patient details prior to surgery
Assisting the Senior ODP and Anaesthetist with airway management
Collecting drugs from controlled drug cupboard
Administering drugs intraoperatively with anaesthetist
Transferring patients from theatre into recovery room
Handing over patients to recovery staff
Requirements
NMC registered Nurse OR HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner
Experience of working within a hospital setting
Experience of working with patients
Experience of managing workload
