Sales Manager for Nuclear and Defence Sectors

Astute People's Nuclear team is seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Manager to join their team in the North of England and Central belt of Scotland.

This role involves expanding the company's brand and generating new business by working closely with key players in the MOD and Marine industry. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales, particularly in technical sales, and excellent business development skills.

Main Responsibilities
  • Target and secure key MOD, marine and offshore projects within the region.
  • Built lasting relationships with owners, operators, engineers, contractors, and resellers.
  • Promote solutions through expert technical presentations, site visits, and training sessions.
  • Maximize networking opportunities at industry events to identify new business prospects.
  • Deliver high-quality results on complex projects, including both traditional and modular construction.
  • Demonstrate exceptional sales growth by securing specifications and providing sustained support throughout project lifecycles.
  • Effectively leverage the CRM system to manage customer interactions and provide valuable sales insights to management.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Proven sales experience, preferably with technical solutions.
  • Industry knowledge of marine, offshore, and defence sectors is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional business development skills, with a strong focus on relationship-building and securing new clients.
  • Excellent project management skills, with ability to handle long-term sales projects and travel requirements.

Estimated salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum.

This role includes a comprehensive benefits package, including a company car, accommodation allowance, up to 40% bonus structure, pension contribution, healthcare package, and anniversary bonus.
