Community Care Specialist

Medequip Connect is seeking a compassionate and responsible Community Responder to join our team. As a vital link between our vulnerable clients and support services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their safety and well-being.
About the RoleAs a Community Responder, you will work a flexible 24/7 rota, responding to alarm calls from our clients who require assistance. You will assess the situation, provide or facilitate appropriate support, and work with our emergency response centre to ensure the client receives the necessary care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to alarm calls and assessing the care and support needs of our clients
- Dealing with referrals, maintenance, and installing alarm equipment at clients' premises
- Providing last resort personal care when on a call-out, maintaining the client's dignity
- Assisting with the promotion of our service in local communities
We are looking for someone who is empathetic, courteous, and kind, with a flexible approach and a responsible nature. Full training will be provided, and you will be supported by an excellent team of professionals who share our company values.
