We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Spanish Teacher to join our team at The Montessori School of Raleigh. As a Spanish educator, you will be responsible for leading one section of Spanish ab initio II and creating a supportive and collaborative learning environment for our students.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Spanish curriculum that aligns with IB guidelines and professional standards
  • Teach Spanish ab initio II to a diverse group of students
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
  • Collaborate with the Dean of Academics to create and submit a curriculum log for archival documentation and transparency
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students in the classroom and on campus
  • Participate in faculty and team meetings, and collaborate with divisional teams as needed
  • Maintain student record keeping, lesson planning, parent reports, and parent conferences
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum five years teaching experience at various age levels
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Commitment to the mission and core values of MSR, including respect, integrity, community, and love of learning
