Job Summary:

An Engineer Surveyor will be responsible for ensuring all crane and lifting equipment meets Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental standards, and developing strong relationships with customers to influence their decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining, servicing, and repairing various pieces of crane and lifting equipment
  • Ensuring compliance with LOLER & PUWER regulations
  • Working unsupervised and making decisions on equipment condition and future use

Requirements:

  • HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Marine or Automotive Engineering, or NVQ Level 3 with significant experience and willingness to work towards a Level 4 qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work at height and in confined spaces
