About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialist in HIV. The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background and be passionate about delivering high-quality care to patients living with HIV.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of clients with complex needs, acting as a specialist in this field.
  • Work as a specialist practitioner dealing with patients presenting primarily with HIV but also Hepatitis B, providing highly specialist care, treatment, advice, information, education, and counselling to patients, families, partners & carers living with or affected by BBVs in accordance with UHB, British HIV Association [BHIVA], British Association of Sexual Health & HIV [BASHH] and other speciality guidelines.
  • Contribute and work within a large, dedicated, supportive MDT consisting of Nurses, Doctors, Health Advisers, Pharmacists, therapies, social & peer support and wider agencies providing holistic wellbeing for our cohort.
  • Complete a Health Assessment course and a local competency programme to ensure you can carry out practitioner-led reviews on patients with consultant oversight.
  • Motivated to consider non-medical prescriber training in future.

Salary and Benefits
