Teaching Opportunity:

A Preston Secondary School is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic female teacher to join their team from November until the end of the academic year. This exciting opportunity offers a balanced timetable split 50/50 between teaching Biology and PE, with the requirement for a female teacher due to changing room cover.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and inspiring Biology lessons that foster curiosity and a love for science.
Teach dynamic and motivating PE lessons, encouraging physical fitness, teamwork, and a healthy lifestyle.
Plan and implement lessons in line with curriculum standards, catering to diverse learning needs.
Monitor and assess student progress in both subjects, providing feedback to support their development.
Promote a positive, inclusive classroom and PE environment that encourages participation and growth.
Provide changing room cover for female students during PE sessions.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching both Biology and PE.
Previous experience teaching at the secondary level.
A strong commitment to student achievement, well-being, and physical health.
An enhanced DBS on the update service (if you don't have one, we can assist with the process).
Female teacher required for changing room supervision.
