Service Care Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Licensing Officer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the welfare and safety of young people in employment or entertainment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain effective systems for recording, assessing, and checking on the welfare of young people in employment or entertainment.
  • Process applications for child employment and entertainment licences, ensuring compliance with statutory legislation and safeguarding requirements.
  • Conduct thorough checks and investigations to ensure the best interests of young people are protected.
  • Deliver training and guidance to schools, employers, and other stakeholders on safeguarding and licensing requirements.
  • Respond to enquiries and provide expert advice on child employment and entertainment licensing.
Requirements:
  • Enhanced DBS clearance.
  • Relevant experience in child employment and entertainment licensing or a related field.
