We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer - Head Up Display Specialist to join our team at EVera Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, releasing, and approving Infotainment components and systems to deliver required functionality to agreed cost, timing, and quality targets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Technical Engineering and a comprehensive knowledge of using calculation and analysis to drive design. They will also have experience with CAN tools to diagnose vehicle behavior and faults.

The Project Engineer - Head Up Display Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Creating and managing commodity virtual and physical DV plans
  • Supporting pre-production builds to ensure build concerns are contained and resolved in the required timeframe
  • Managing 5-year commodity strategy and developing relevant new technologies to implementation-ready within agreed function budget, resource, and timing
  • Leading cross-functional teams to deliver components to the programme QCWFT (quality, cost, weight, function, and timing) requirements
  • Supporting packaging activities to ensure best practice locations to ensure good performance levels and customer satisfaction for reception

The successful candidate will have:

  • Requirements writing skills, including the use of software tools such as Polarion, Doors, and Jama
  • Excellent technical engineering background and a comprehensive knowledge of using calculation and analysis to drive design
  • Knowledge of CAN tools to diagnose vehicle behavior and faults
  • Complete knowledge of the Product Development cycle from concept to launch completion
  • Extensive knowledge of automotive development systems, including specification, releasing, concerns, containments, gateways, and sign-off documentation
  • Excellent written communication skills for requirements writing and concerns management
