**The Role**

We're seeking a skilled GDPR Policy Analyst to join our team in British Gas Business. As a key member of our Customer Response Team, you'll work closely with our GDPR Policy Lead to deliver against customer data privacy needs. This will involve managing data subject rights requests, data breaches, disclosures, and other data-related tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage data subject rights requests, ensuring timely and compliant responses.
  • Support the business in dealing with customer and employee complaints related to data privacy.
  • Collaborate with the Data Privacy Officer to manage data privacy breaches and complaints from regulatory bodies.
  • Provide expert advice on data privacy matters to the business.
  • Support the delivery of reports on data subject access requests and data breaches.
  • Ensure compliance with key performance indicators and update logs accordingly.

**Requirements**

  • Strong understanding of GDPR, data protection regulations, and customer privacy rights.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook, and internal systems such as SAP CRM, SAP ISU, Verint, AWS Connect, and Ensek.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
