RBW Consulting's client, a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO), requires a Senior Automation Lead with expertise in the CDMO or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will oversee Automation and Computerised System Validation teams, providing technical and business support, as well as mentoring and developing team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead Automation and Computerised System Validation teams, ensuring sufficient competent resources for operations and projects.
  • Develop and execute the site Automation Strategy in line with the technology roadmap, providing Automation Programme Management expertise.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Site Automation Team, managing 3rd-party suppliers, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all existing and new Process Control and Automated Systems are designed, delivered, and maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • More than 10 years' experience in a relevant discipline.
  • Over 5 years' experience in GMP/biologics manufacturing.
  • Experience in plant control systems operation, design, and installation, as well as development of site strategy for automation and control.

This role is ideal for an experienced professional looking to lead a team and drive automation strategy in a CDMO environment.
