We are seeking an experienced VAT Director to join our team in Reigate, Surrey. As a VAT Director, you will be responsible for leading our VAT team and providing expert advice to clients across the South-East.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the VAT team on all areas of VAT advice, including technical research and compliance.
- Provide expert advice to clients on VAT-efficient structuring of their affairs and VAT considerations for international trade.
- Implement partial exemption special schemes and advise on a wide range of VAT matters for the firm's diverse client base.
- Manage and develop members of the VAT team, including business development and marketing.
- Significant experience providing VAT advice, working within a practice environment, in-house, or at HMRC.
- Broad exposure to most areas of UK VAT, with a working knowledge of EU VAT requirements as they apply to UK businesses.
- ACA / ACCA / CTA or equivalent, or qualified by experience.
- Highly competitive salary dependent on experience and background, negotiable- circa £90,000- £100,000 per annum.
- 25 days holiday (plus public holidays) and the option to buy or sell for up to 5 days.
