Footwear Buyer

We are seeking an experienced Footwear Buyer - Procurement Specialist to join our team in Greater Manchester.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and ambitious individual to impact buying opportunities across our Footwear department, working closely with our supplier base and contributing to the growth of the business.

1. Strategic Buying: Manage existing brand relationships, seek new partnership opportunities, and contribute to category buying strategy by informing consumer-centric decision making.
2. Product Meetings: Attend key product meetings, providing relevant business and marketplace insights, and maintaining effective communication with the supplier base.
3. Forecasting and Planning: Forecast and plan by brand and product group, ensuring optimal stock levels, profitability, and seasonal product flow.
4. Team Collaboration: Maintain excellent internal relationships with Merchandising and Marketing departments, and coach, support, and develop junior team members.
5. Research and Analysis: Research and present brand, product group, and consumer performance for internal insights, and identify new business opportunities.

• Candidate Profile: We are looking for someone with proven work experience within a multi-channel retail buying department, who is enthusiastic about the Footasylum product and what we stand for.
• Skills and Qualifications: Excellent commercial awareness, communication skills, and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
