About the Role

As a Senior Building Design Specialist, you will be responsible for working on various structural engineering projects across the north of England, with occasional opportunities to work on sites across the UK. You will be part of our structural engineering team, which provides expert design services for commercial, industrial, health, leisure, retail, and residential sectors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building design and a good understanding of current technical standards. They should be proficient in the use of AutoCAD and have experience working with clients and architects. A full UK driving license is also essential.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 1.5 years' experience in structural engineering consultancy within the UK
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and Finite Element Analysis packages
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Chartered status desirable but not essential
