Automation Project Manager

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Project Manager to lead critical automation projects within the automotive industry.
About the Role:
- Maintain and control all site commissioning activities, including weekly updates of Autostatus documents, while adhering to project schedules, scopes, and budgets.
- Ensure site safety and manage subcontracted efforts to ensure compliance and performance.
- Develop and implement technical solutions that meet systems requirements and contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with Engineering Project Technical Leads to ensure contract technical requirements are met.
- Closely monitor technical, schedule, and cost performance measures to assess engineering performance against contracts.
Your Key Responsibilities will include:
- To maintain control over all companies and sub-contract project activities on site, emphasizing safety and quality.
- To manage all aspects of allocated contracts, ensuring timely completion within specifications and budget.
- Deliver technical solutions satisfying system requirements per approved plans and contracts.
- Implement disciplined engineering processes between the Project Management Office and Engineering.
- To work closely with suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure compliance and performance.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- A proven track record in successfully delivering projects or task work packages, ideally in automation, robotics, controls projects or task work packages in Automotive Body in White.
- Strong technical experience in Robotics, Automation, and Controls.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with customers, suppliers, and internal staff.
- Able to demonstrate a sound understanding of business, finance, and personnel management techniques and commercial aspects of projects.
- Problem-solving skills to keep projects on track, mitigate issues, and solve customer queries.

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is £55,000-£65,000 depending on experience.
