About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technician to join our team of experts in Civils 3D design and modelling. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing CAD-based deliverables, including 3D models and engineering drawings, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage CAD-based deliverables, including 3D models and engineering drawings, to ensure compliance with relevant CAD standards.
  • Produce technical supporting data, such as specifications and reports, to support project delivery.
  • Ensure seamless integration of designs and global models using CAD tools and multi-disciplinary design coordination.
  • Produce high-quality visualisations and animations to communicate project outcomes.
  • Support the development of BIM Execution Plans for projects and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Apply health and safety, quality, and training policies to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Assist with site surveys and inspections to ensure project deliverables meet client requirements.
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Senior Technician with a strong background in Civil/Structural discipline in the rail sector. You will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality engineering solutions using Bentley MicroStation (2D/3D) AECOsim/OpenBuildings Designer and Autodesk products.

You will have experience of using Data Management Systems in Common Data Environment (CDE) and be able to comply with system standards. A HNC level or equivalent in a relevant engineering or CAD subject is essential, with a strong desire to continue learning and developing your skills.
