Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Dermatology Consultant Specialist to join our team at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, developing clinical protocols, and participating in the management of the dermatology service.

Salary: £120,000 - £170,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role

The post holder will provide out-patient services for dermatology patients, further develop existing clinical protocols, and participate in the day-to-day running of the dermatology service. They will also have opportunities to contribute to the management of the department and participate in professional supervision and development of junior and middle-grade doctors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including out-patient services and inpatient referrals
  • Develop and implement clinical protocols to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Participate in the day-to-day running of the dermatology service
  • Contribute to the management of the department and participate in professional supervision and development of junior and middle-grade doctors
