We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Nurse to join our team at a reputable nursery in the UK. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children under the age of 5.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as a key worker, providing a high level of care, purposeful play, and interactions to the children in your care, building excellent relationships with them and promoting their development.
- Ensure the smooth running of daily practices, adhering to all nursery policies and procedures.
- Be a key worker to a group of children, ensuring their individual development needs are met.
- Carry out regular observations, assessments, and record each child's development, planning next steps.
- Attend and participate in parent-teacher conferences, nursery events, and staff meetings as required.
- Encourage parents and carers to be involved in the setting and their children's learning.
- Maintain accurate records, including accidents, incidents, and risk assessment records.
- Prepare, care for, and maintain the playrooms and equipment.
- Work 40 hours per week over 4 days, Monday to Friday.
- NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism.
