Job Summary
Speedy, the UK's leading hire provider, is seeking a skilled Plant Engineer to oversee the inspection, testing, and maintenance of plant hire equipment in the region. This role involves working closely with other engineers, drivers, and the hire desk team to ensure repairs and maintenance are prioritized effectively.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections and testing of plant equipment to ensure compliance with Speedy safety standards
Perform repairs and maintenance on plant equipment to the highest standard
Collaborate with the depot team to prioritize repairs and maintenance
Liaise with drivers and the hire desk team to ensure efficient equipment allocation

Requirements
NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent in a relevant discipline
Technical/engineering background is desirable
Flexible approach to working hours
Ability to support the business unit/team to deliver the ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver
