Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at EdEx. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will work closely with children with SEMH needs, providing individual and small group support to help them overcome their challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with SEMH needs
  • Assist class teachers in delivering core subject material
  • Support pupils and class teachers within the classroom
  • Work collaboratively with the school's mental health team to develop and implement support plans

Requirements:

  • Graduate with a strong academic record (2:1 or 1st Class degree)
  • Passion for learning and working with young people
  • 'Can-do' attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Previous school-based experience
  • Sufficient understanding of SEMH needs, including ASD, ADHD, SpLD, and more

What We Offer:

  • Competitive daily rate: £105 - £110
  • Monday to Friday working hours
  • Long-term, full-time contract
