Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at EdEx. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will work closely with children with SEMH needs, providing individual and small group support to help them overcome their challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with SEMH needs
- Assist class teachers in delivering core subject material
- Support pupils and class teachers within the classroom
- Work collaboratively with the school's mental health team to develop and implement support plans
Requirements:
- Graduate with a strong academic record (2:1 or 1st Class degree)
- Passion for learning and working with young people
- 'Can-do' attitude and a willingness to learn
- Previous school-based experience
- Sufficient understanding of SEMH needs, including ASD, ADHD, SpLD, and more
What We Offer:
- Competitive daily rate: £105 - £110
- Monday to Friday working hours
- Long-term, full-time contract
