**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Works Foreman Equipment Operator to oversee department employees and ensure timely completion of projects scheduled by the Public Works Supervisor. This role requires extensive knowledge of road construction and the skilled operation of various construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a team of employees in the public works department
  • Ensure compliance with project schedules and deadlines
  • Maintain a high level of proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, cranes, and graders
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure optimal performance

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., civil engineering, construction management)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in road construction or a related field
  • Valid Class B CDL license

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

This is a full-time position with excellent benefits, including 100% paid medical, dental, and life insurance for employees, 3% match for retirement, vacation time, personal/sick time, and 12 paid holidays.
