We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Design and Development Engineer to join our team in MBDA. As a key member of our weapon system equipment team, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and delivery of advanced defense systems.

Job Description

  • You will work closely with a multi-disciplined team across all parts of the product lifecycle, including procurement, commercial, mechanical & electrical engineers, software engineers, and trials & integration teams.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to develop equipment policies and technical standards to improve capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain technical standards and policies to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and develop new systems and technologies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, physics, mathematics, or computer science. Additionally, you should have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
