{"h1": "Cable Project Engineer - Join Our Team", "p": "At SSE, we're committed to delivering a safe and reliable electricity supply to the communities we serve. As a Cable Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of our Transmission Pathway to 2030 programme of works.

Your key responsibilities will include:

* Involved in the full project life cycle, from project definition to project completion.
* Providing cable engineering support across multiple projects, including review and assessment of technology options, underground cable routing selection, and current rating calculations.
* Developing technical scopes and specifications for new underground cable projects and modifications to existing assets.
* Reviewing cable system prequalification and type testing reports, and verifying contractor/consultant detailed underground cable system designs.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have demonstrable technical skills in Transmission voltage level underground cable systems development, design, and specification. You'll also need to have an understanding of the legislation and implications of such for the management of the Transmission network.
