About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Podiatrist to join our team as a Clinical Lead in High-Risk Podiatry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing patients with complex podiatric needs, including those with diabetes and other chronic conditions.

The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, providing clinical guidance and support to colleagues. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans, conducting biomechanical assessments, and prescribing orthotics.

Key Duties
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for high-risk patients
  • Conduct biomechanical assessments and provide orthotics prescriptions
  • Lead a team of podiatrists, providing clinical guidance and support
  • Participate in clinical governance initiatives, including audit and research projects
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care pathways

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration
  • B.Sc. in Podiatric Medicine or equivalent qualification
  • At least 4 years' experience in high-risk podiatry
  • Ability to work autonomously and lead a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
